Ausstellung „Kosovo und die österreichisch-albanischen Beziehungen”
The relationship between Austria and Albania is traditionally regarded as very good. Thus, Austria is considered the most important advocate of Albania on its way to the European Union. Historically, they are characterized by the common resistance against the Ottoman Empire, the support of Austria-Hungary for the independence of the Albanian state. Austrians played a significant role in the emergence of albanology as a scientific discipline.
The still young republic of Kosovo has a strong Albanian ethnic background and for its part also has very good relations with Austria, but also with its neighbor Albania. The exhibition “ Kosovo and the Austro-Albanian Relations. Pictures of a story “ in the Press Club Concordia (Bankgasse 8, 1010 Vienna).
To this end, and opening at the opening on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 18:00, the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Austria, the Albania Institute eV, the Press Club Concordia and the Austrian-Kosovar Friendship Society cordially invite.
Exhibition duration April 13 – April 30, 2018 (Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm).
